Welcome to Camden County, Georgia
There is only one place in Georgia, outside metro Atlanta, where you can tap into a market of 1.25 million people; enjoy NFL football, minor league baseball, and an AZA award winning zoo; access world-class shopping and restaurants; and have the pleasure of an international airport within a thirty minute drive. That one place is Camden County. We are a quaint coastal community located next to Jacksonville, FL (the largest border city to Georgia). This unique combination provides the best of both worlds – Coastal Lifestyle...Metro Advantages.
Camden County is a very special place indeed! We are home to Cumberland Island (one of only ten national seashores in the United States) and the Naval Submarine Base at Kings Bay (the only navy base in Georgia). Our K-12 education system has received numerous awards and accolades, our hospital was voted the best small hospital in Georgia for 2009, and our four year College of Coastal Georgia is a fully accredited member of the Georgia University system. We enjoy interstate highways, rail, foreign trade zone status, and convenient access to deep water ports in Florida and Georgia. Best of all, we have sites available for development and a government structure ready to support your move.
Thank you for visiting our website. I personally invite you to visit me in Camden County to learn more of the wonderful opportunities we have to offer your business and family.
Hope to see you soon,
